caramel custard

कैरमल  कस्टर्ड   मराठीमध्ये  
This caramel custard is made without eggs. vegetarians won't miss it.Try this recipe. it's very simple and tastes really nice.
Ingredients
milk- 1/2 lit
vanilla custard powder- 3 tea sp.( you can always use cornflour instead of readymade custard powder and can add vanilla essence in it)
sugar- 11 tea sp.
china grass- 3 table sp.    ( to be dissolved in 3/4 cup water) 
For caramel
sugar- 4 table sp.
water- 1 tea sp


Method
take 100 ml of milk in a small bowl and mix vanilla custard powder in it to make a smooth paste.
add sugar in the remaining milk and make it warm. add vanilla custard paste in it and stir continuously for half a minute.Put off the flame as it thickens.
Warm the dissolved china grass mixture and  add it into the custard-milk mixture.
strain it and add 2-3 drops of vanilla essence.
Keep it aside.

to make caramel
heat 4 table sp. sugar with 1 tea sp. water in apan
when the colour changes and becomes brown put off the flame.
pour the caramel in a glass bowl.spread all over by rotating the bowl.
add the custard mixture slowly.
set it in a fridge for2 hours.
